12-6 What are the layout requirements of compressed air stations in the compressed air station design specification?

Compressed air station layout should be close to load center, have reasonable power & water supply, allow for expansion, avoid harmful substances, comply with noise & vibration standards, ensure good ventilation, and be an independent building or separated by a wall.
Case Details

Answer: The layout of compressed air stations in factories (mines) should be determined based on the following factors and after comparison of technical and economic plans.

(1) Close to the load center.

(2) Reasonable power and water supply.

(3) Possibility of expansion.

(4) Avoid being close to places where explosive, corrosive and toxic gases, dust and other harmful substances are emitted, and be located on the leeward side of the above-mentioned places with the lowest wind direction frequency throughout the year.

(5) The spacing between compressed air stations and places with noise and vibration protection requirements should comply with the provisions of relevant national standards and specifications in force.

(6) The orientation of the compressed air station should ensure good cross-ventilation between machines and reduce western exposure.

(7) The compressed air station should be an independent building. When it is adjacent to or located inside other buildings, it should be separated by a wall.
