6-7 Briefly describe the treatment method for long-term shutdown of screw air compressors.

For long-term shutdown of screw air compressors, drain condensates, fix faults, seal openings, wrap with oil paper, replace lubricating oil, and drain cooling water based on shutdown duration.
Case Details

Answer:
(1) Shutdown for more than 3 weeks:

   1) Drain the condensate in the oil cooler and aftercooler;

   2) If there is any fault, it should be eliminated first for future use;

   3) Drain the condensate in the oil drum, oil cooler, and aftercooler.

(2) Shutdown for more than 2 months (in addition to the above procedures, the following treatment is required):

   1) Seal all openings to prevent moisture from entering;

   2) Wrap the safety valve and control panel with oil paper to prevent rust;

   3) Replace the lubricating oil before shutdown and run for 30 minutes. After two days, drain the condensate in the oil drum and cooler;

   4) Drain all cooling water.
