The amount of refrigerant filling affects the dryer's performance. Insufficient filling causes low pressures and a hot compressor, while excess filling leads to high pressures, compressor issues, and increased air dew point.

(1) The evaporation pressure and condensation pressure are lower than normal operation, but the air dew point cannot be lowered.

(2) The compressor casing becomes hot.

If the amount of refrigerant filling is too much, the dryer will experience the following phenomena:

(1) The refrigerant liquid accumulates in the condenser, which reduces the condensation area and causes the condensation pressure to increase. In severe cases, it causes a high-voltage trip.

(2) The load on the refrigeration compressor increases, making it difficult to start.

(3) The refrigerant fails to fully vaporize in the evaporator, causing wet vapor to enter the compressor, which poses a risk of "liquid compression".

(4) Due to the increase in condensation pressure, the compressor's cooling capacity decreases and the air dew point increases.
